Caldwell Smashes BC Record!

The past weekend in Beaverton Oregon - Katie Caldwell broke one of the longest standing BC age group records on the books.  kate swam the 400IM in 4:50 smashing the record of 4:52 that had been set all the way back in 1990!  Way to go Kate!

A reminder that PSW will be away from the pool beginning Dec 20th - regular workouts will start back up on Monday January 5th, 2009.  Have a safe and happy Christmas season.


PSW swimmers make Team BC Grade

Swim BC has released their rosters for Fall 2008 programming and PSW has three members selected - on the Prospects both Kate Caldwell and Emma Mittermaier have qualified, at the Youth/Junior level Hilary Caldwell qualified.  Qualification was based the past 2008 long course results - job well done girls as well as coaches Annie Wolfe and Brad Dingey.

Hello Everyone in PSW land!

I hope everyone had a great summer and is looking forward to an increadible swim year.  It was certainly inspirering to watch all of our Canadian athletes swim so well in the Olympics and now is the time we again training to someday reach that peak.  Formal workouts will begin on Tuesday September 2nd, 2008 - that week we will be training according to the tentative schedule you recieved as part of your registration package.  I look forward to seeing everyone at the pool.
